Chattanooga, TN. One of the oldest Councils in the Chamber, the East Ridge Council has sponsored or founded several long-standing community initiatives, including How to Start a Business seminars, Bargain Days, and the East Ridge Revitalization Program.
This past year the East Ridge Council, in partnership with East Ridge Revitalization and the TVA Economic Development Division, conducted a visioning process. “This 21st Century Vision Project was very successful in defining a strategic agenda for East Ridge,” says Council President Bill Tripp. “The Chamber mission of promoting regional business growth that produces prosperity and enhances the quality of life is very much incorporated in this 21st Century Vision.”
The East Ridge Council includes entrepreneurs new to the business world as well as seasoned business professionals committed to assisting others in climbing the ladder of success.
Hamilton County Commission Chair Curtis Adams arranges the Council’s monthly programs and serves, along with East Ridge Mayor Fred Pruett, on the Council’s board of directors.
“The East Ridge Council is dedicated to helping provide the highest quality of life for residents and the greatest prosperity for our businesses,” Tripp says.
The East Ridge Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at noon in the East Ridge Community Center, 1517 Tombras Avenue.
